Good morning.

I bet you noticed there wasn’t a message for Tuesday. This inspired me to write today’s letter about taking your time. Experiences and emotions are two things most people don’t realize they fear. We spoke before about “analysis paralysis” and being stuck in the cages of your own mind. Never taking the necessary leap to get what you want out of life.

Today I want to detail the benefits of taking your time and engaging with your world will do.

You spend half of the 16 hours awake and active at work. In an office, surrounded by crappy florescent lighting, plastic, glass, and people you may or may not like.

It’s the time you dedicate your service to a company or your own efforts at making a living, sitting between four walls, and looking at a screen or doing manual labour. It often, too, becomes a zone of most comfort.

“But, I hate it at work! I’m not comfortable there!”

So says you.

An example of how to solve this issue reminds me of my good friend Roudokov. We were both fascinated with video games, online games, and otherwise being out of the streets. One day, Roudokov decides to take a chance and change everything about his outlook; mind and body. Skinny, Ukrainian kid begins to work out. The complete change from being a high 90pound something teenager, the discipline required; the amount of discomfort he must have endured to change his body.

I talked about the importance of diet when I mentioned my morning routine. You wouldn’t believe how hard it is to lower sugar intake. Could you imagine a life with little to no sweets? Going cold turkey can be difficult and it isn’t the best recommendation. What we will do to solve this is tiny adjustments.

Instead of driving to the store, walk to the nearest deli within reasonable distance.

  1. Take a different path home.
  2. Eat something you would not normally. Ask yourself, why do/don’t I like this?
  3. Call the person instead of texting.
  4. And finally:

  5. Put the phone down, engage with your surroundings.
  6. There is an extreme benefit to setting different strategies in motion. One is self-awareness and spatial awareness., buy a book The next time you want to read something, one that may help you with a problem you’re dealing with currently. The beginning of re-framing your mind will be rough, however, it will change your position in life for the better.
