What is a brand?
Many people have asked this question. We all say brand and think we get it. However, what a brand is can be easily misunderstood.
A brand is the set of expectations, memories, stories and relationships that, taken together, account for a consumer’s decision to choose one product or service over another.

Why the Y?
In 2006, I noticed that brand was quickly becoming a requirement and where we would be headed in the foreseeable future. But, why?
As humans, questions are the foundation of strategy, design, and purpose for our every day lives. A sygn that there is more. That you can take life to the next level at any moment. Our brand, logo and experience, are beacons meant to ask questions: What are we doing? Why are we doing it?

It has become easier for us to reach our favorite celebrities and influencers in the digital age, or become them ourselves by simply searching. 13-17 year olds in the US detail a new wave of “influence” mentioning that youtubers were more important for them than any other media personalities. Many of us(50%) have watched a vlog in the past two weeks, 63% for 18-36 year olds, and a fraction of us are looking to become brands ourselves. Somehow, in today's world, we've all become media companies in one way or another. Whether you're a creator or employed, this is how we will market ourselves, our products, or services.
